Our History

Sylamore Baptist Church was organized as a church in 1996 with a handful of members seeking to be obedient to the Lord's will by establishing a church in the Sylamore Community.

Now here we are in 2025 singing, teaching, preaching, and sharing the "Good News" of the Gospel of Christ. Being led by the Spirit of God in our devotion, and Worship to a Loving, Living, God!

We are a "come as you are" church where everyone is welcome!

Who We Are

 

LOVE GOD

As people of God, we first seek a relationship with God. We cannot earn salvation through our own efforts but solely trust in the work of Jesus on the cross for our salvation. Second, we seek to live a life pleasing to Him through obedience to His Word.

 

SERVE OTHERS

Our second priority is to serve others within our fellowship here at Syalmore Baptist Church. We are commanded to love one another, pray for one another, carry one another's burdens, and build one another up. We strive to obey these commands here at Sylamore Baptist Church.

 

REACH THE LOST

God established the church with a mission to make disciples of all nations. Here at Sylamore Baptist Church, we want to be the light of Jesus to our community of Sylamore, Mountain View and Stone County. We also reach beyond our community to our nation and the world with the gospel of Jesus.

Our Beliefs

Sylamore Baptist is a Bible believing, Bible teaching body of believers spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Come and join us as we worship our RISEN LORD!
